Request for Assistance
The Giving Tree only accepts requests from caseworkers or social service agencies.
If you are an individual or family in need, please contact a social service agency or caseworker to submit this form on your behalf.
Update August 20, 2025:
Unfortunately our Quiet Giving/Request for Assistance Program is temporarily on hold due to staffing shortages. We expect to be up and running as soon as possible, please check back. All requests that have been previously submitted will still be considered.
During the months of June, July and August, The Giving Tree runs on a smaller staff.
We will not be taking requests from July 11- August 15.
PLEASE NOTE:
The last day to submit school uniform requests for fulfillment BEFORE school starts in Palm Beach County is Friday 7/11/25.
Requests for school uniforms received after this date, will be addressed after Monday 8/11/25.

Request for Assistance guidelines (effective 8/15/2025):
To better manage our resources and the growing number of requests, The Giving Tree limits the number of requests to 6 per caseworker per month.
- Each request must only include 1 child or 1 adult
- For example: For a family of 5 – caseworker must submit 5 separate requests
- Please ensure that all necessary and up-to-date information is included in the request
- We do not consider requests for utility bills, medical bills, large appliances, transportation, housing assistance and perishables
We remain fully committed to fulfilling requests promptly.
The Giving Tree understands the significant needs within our community.
Updated Request for Assistance (effective 11/1/2024):
The Request for Assistance Program will be closed now through the end of the year. We are focusing our resources on our annual Holiday Wish List Drive.
Requests will be taken as usual starting January 10, 2025.
